Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of Perimenopause Clarity. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer.
1. The service
Perimenopause Clarity is a wellbeing tracking and preparation tool operated by Naturebeings AS, Norwegian organisation number 925 428 000, with its business address at c/o Ellen Sofie Øgaard, Elgfaret 40, 1415 Oppegård, Norway. It is presented under the Well Held Studio brand, and Naturebeings AS is the business responsible for it. It lets you record observations during perimenopause, review patterns, write weekly reflections, and produce a summary you can bring to an appointment. It is not medical care.
The app is built and hosted using Base44. Base44 and the platform provider supply the infrastructure and are not parties to these terms; your contracting party is Naturebeings AS. Our Privacy Policy lists the current service providers and their roles.
2. Not medical advice or emergency care
The service organizes your own observations for discussion with a qualified healthcare professional. It does not diagnose, explain causes, recommend treatment, replace a clinician, or replace urgent or emergency care. Do not rely on it to make medical decisions. If you experience severe or sudden symptoms, contact a clinician or emergency services right away. See the Medical Disclaimer.
3. Eligibility and account security
You must be old enough to consent to this kind of processing in your country, and you must give accurate account details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access other people's accounts or data, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it, or upload malicious code. Do not use it to provide medical advice to others.
5. Your content
What you record stays yours. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you enter, and for having the right to enter it. You give us the limited permission we need to store, process, and display your entries back to you so the service can work — for example to build your patterns and reports. We do not sell your entries.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its text belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of anything.
7. Subscription, price and payment
Perimenopause Clarity is a subscription. You can pay monthly (€3.99) or yearly (€39). Prices include VAT where it applies, and the price you will pay is shown at checkout before you confirm.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, VAT, receipts and billing questions, and provides all customer service inquiries and returns for payments. When you subscribe, you also agree to Paddle’sBuyer Terms, which are shown at checkout. We never see or store your card details.
8. Free trial, renewal and cancellation
- Free trial. New subscribers get 30 days free. We ask for a payment card when the trial starts. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and your first payment is taken on day 31. We will email you a reminder before that.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your Profile (Manage subscription) or through the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops future payments. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Price changes. If we change the price, we will tell you in advance. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, Paddle will retry it and ask you to update your card. If payment can’t be completed, your subscription may end.
- Your entries. Your account and your entries are separate from your subscription. If your subscription ends, you can still sign in to export or delete your information.
9. Refunds and your right of withdrawal
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a payment, for any reason. For a subscription that starts with a free trial, the 14 days start when the trial ends and your first payment is taken. To ask for a refund, go to paddle.net (or use the link in your receipt), or contact us. Refunds are made to your original payment method.
If you live in Norway, the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, this also covers your legal right to withdraw within 14 days. Refunds are handled by our reseller Paddle under its Refund Policy. See also our Cancellation and refunds page. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under consumer law where you live.
10. Service changes and closure
We may change, add to, or remove parts of the service. If we discontinue the core product we will give reasonable notice, and we will tell you what happens to your access and how to take a copy of your information.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages, and events outside our control may interrupt it.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for direct loss arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for access in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable statutory consumer rights and liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if these terms are breached or if we are required to by law. Where we end access without cause, we will tell you and explain what happens to your information.
14. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer rights or consumer protection you are entitled to where you live. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at ellen@naturebeings.co so we can try to put it right.
